The New York Jets should be much more efficient on offense this season with superstar Garrett Wilson primed to immerse himself as a top 5 WR.

For 40-year-old Aaron Rodgers to be successful, he will need to lean on Wilson who cemented himself as one of the best WRs in the NFL after producing back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. Wilson has caught balls from six different QBs throughout his first two seasons, none of which are Rodgers.

The former Ohio State Buckeye has been a human highlight reel throughout training camp and put on a show in today's joint practice with the Washington Commanders. "Garrett looked awesome", head coach Robert Saleh mentioned following today's practice.

A lot of Wilson's day was taking reps against second-year defensive back Emmanuel Forbes Jr. and to say it didn't go well for Forbes would be an understatement. Wilson dominated Forbes Jr. all day to the point where even Jets fans were correctly predicting that Wilson would win his route on certain plays vs Forbes.

Forbes Jr. had allowed multiple TDs to Wilson and even a 55-yard bomb by QB Tyrod Taylor. Sure, Forbes Jr. isn't a top DB in the NFL as of yet, but today's practice just proves what everyone already knows about Wilson and how much better he can be this year with the Hall-of-Famer Rodgers back in the mix.
