Fantasy Football Start 'Em or Sit 'Em Week 6: Tre Tucker, DJ Turner image

The Las Vegas Raiders were hit with some unfortunate injury news on Saturday, as Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is doubtful to play versus the Pittsburgh Steelers due to an ankle injury. With Meyers likely sidelined on Sunday, fellow wideouts Tre Tucker and DJ Turner will see increased workloads.

Tucker and Turner both had quiet games in the Raiders' blowout loss to the Denver Broncos, combining for just three catches for 30 yards.

Both players have had their moments this season and will be pivotal pieces in the receivers room in Week 6 due to Meyers' absence. But are they viable options to start in your lineup this week?

WR Tre Tucker - Start him

Despite a lackluster showing in Week 5, Tucker is due for a bounce-back game on Sunday. The 23-year-old ranks as the WR24 in PPR since Week 3, per Fantasy Pros, and has major big-play upside.

According to CBS Sports, the Steelers are allowing about 19 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season, which ranks 12th in the league. Pittsburgh's secondary is above average, but with Tucker performing well over the last three contests and serving as the WR1 this week for Las Vegas, it would be a savvy move to start him in your flex spot in Week 6.

WR DJ Turner - Sit him

Turner has just two receptions this season and hasn't been involved in the passing game. In fact, he has more carries (three) than catches. With Davante Adams on his way out and Meyers dealing with injury, Turner's role in Luke Getsy's offense will increase.

Though Turner has some upside for future weeks, it would be wise to keep him on your bench in Week 6. The Raiders' passing attack has been lackluster this season, and the quarterback play just isn't good enough to spread the wealth. Tucker and Bowers will garner most of the targets, with Turner picking up the crumbs.
