F1 standings 2025: Updated driver and constructor points, results for new Formula One season image

A new Formula 1 season is upon us.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen will be looking to win his fifth consecutive drivers' championship but is set to be pushed by multiple challengers.

Lando Norris is viewed as his biggest threat, while fellow McLaren driver Oscar Piastri, new Ferrari duo Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, and Mercedes' George Russell are also considered early contenders.

As for the constructors' title, McLaren ended a 26-year drought when they claimed last year's crown. The Woking-based team are the preseason favourites to go back-to-back, with the three other aforementioned teams likely to give chase again.

Six rookies will also race for six separate teams, creating plenty of unpredictability leading into this campaign.

Below, The Sporting News will keep you updated with the drivers' and constructors' championship standings throughout 2025.
