College collectives better open up their checkbooks this Christmas season because shopping in the transfer portal isn’t coming cheap.

It’s no secret that players are now demanding massive paydays as they search for new programs, and Georgia Tech wide receiver Eric Singleton Jr. is no exception.

According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Singleton is seeking upwards of $1 million in NIL compensation as one of the most coveted players in the portal.

The soon-to-be former Yellow Jackets star reportedly has his choices narrowed to five schools: LSU, Texas, Auburn, Miami, and Ole Miss.

On Monday, 247Sports’ Crystal Ball gave a prediction that Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss could be the frontrunners to land Singleton.

Singleton has been a dynamic weapon in his two seasons at Georgia Tech. Across 24 career games, he has totaled 104 receptions for 1,468 yards, averaging an impressive 14.1 yards per catch, while adding 10 touchdowns from scrimmage.

This past season alone, Singleton caught 56 passes for 754 yards and three touchdowns. He also displayed versatility as a runner, contributing 131 yards on 21 carries with another touchdown. Known for his blazing speed and big-play ability, Singleton has been a focal point of Georgia Tech’s offense and won’t be easy to replace.

With programs like Ole Miss and the ACC's Miami and others aggressively pursuing him, Singleton figures to be one of the biggest names to watch as the portal action heats up.
