Will the Dallas Cowboys find a way to keep another superstar in town for the foreseeable future?
Dallas locked up quarterback Dak Prescott and receiver CeeDee Lamb to long-term deals after much speculation. Now, will they be able to do the same with three-time Pro Bowler Micah Parsons?
He is under team control for one more season but there has been a lot of chatter about a possible contract extension. It's unknown if the two sides will be able to come to terms on a deal this upcoming offseason, but he made his intention known on his podcast, "The Edge with Micah Parsons."
"Like I said, you know I'm going to be a Cowboy for life," Parsons said. "We're gonna figure out a way for me to be a Cowboy for life and I think (Jerry Jones) and (Stephen Jones). I'm going to be really excited at the end of this year and I hope the fans are going to be excited because I think it's going to be a great offseason."
There has been a lot of speculation about the Cowboys superstar, but Parsons really can't be more clear than he was on his podcast. He clearly wants to stay in Dallas for the long-term and now the two sides will need to find a way to make it happen.
Both Lamb and Prescott already have gotten their long-term deals, Parsons should be next once the 2024 season comes to an end.
