With the conference championship games set, sportsbooks have updated their Super Bowl 59 odds boards and opened betting on the four potential matchups for Sunday, Feb. 9 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Championship Sunday features the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles battling for the NFC title, and the Buffalo Bills challenging the Kansas City Chiefs for the AFC crown.

Odds to win Super Bowl 59
With a perceived easier path to New Orleans than the Bills or Chiefs, the Eagles are now priced as the favorite to win the Super Bowl. Philadelphia, however, is an underdog against either potential AFC representative, per look-ahead lines at top online sportsbooks.
The Commanders own the longest odds of the four remaining contenders to lift the Lombardi Trophy, while the Chiefs and Bills are priced relatively even.

Super Bowl look-ahead lines
We’re not yet sure who will be there, but sportsbooks have opened point spread, over/under and moneyline wagering on Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans.
The AFC squads are favored in every potential matchup, and the Bills and Chiefs are rated evenly by the betting market, laying about 1.5 points against the Eagles and 4.5 against the Commanders

These early lines are likely pretty close to the opening numbers we'll see upon the conclusion of the conference championship games. We'll see some adjustments based on betting action, how the contenders perform on Sunday and injuries.
Should the Chiefs and Eagles advance to New Orleans, Super Bowl 59 would be a rematch of the 57th version of the game two years ago. The point spread for that matchup in Glendale, Arizona hovered near a pick 'em during the two weeks between Championship Sunday and the Super Bowl and closed Philly -1. The Chiefs outlasted the Eagles 38-35 in an epic finale.
Kansas City is 3-1 both straight up and against the spread in four Super Bowls under Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid.
