Ifeatu Melifonwu injury update: Latest news on Lions DB's status in playoff game image

The Detroit Lions have yet another injury concern during the divisional round game against the Washington Commanders, as defensive back Ifeatu Melifonwu got hurt in the third quarter.

The Lions are already shorthanded in the secondary after an injury in the first quarter to cornerback Amik Robertson, who was ruled out shortly after because of his elbow injury.

Now, the Lions are in danger of missing yet another members of their secondary in Melifonwu, who left the field because of his injury. Fellow defensive back Brian Branch got hurt on the same play but has since returned to the game.

UPDATE: According to the team, Melifonwu is questionable to return with a hamstring injury.
