LeBron James has played with 95 different teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers since the King took his talents to LA in 2018-19.
But who are the 10 greatest teammates LeBron has had in purple and gold?
To put together this top-10 list of LeBron's greatest Lakers teammates, factors taken into account beyond stats were championship-level impact, chemistry/basketball fit with LeBron, and games played.
Guys who played less than 20 games with LeBron in LA didn't qualify (sorry, Isaiah Thomas!), which trimmed the list of 95 possible candidates down to 68.
Without further ado, here are the 10 greatest LeBron James Lakers teammates...
10. Rajon Rondo

- MPG: 23.6 (No. 21)
- FG%: 40.3 (No. 51)

- Plus/minus per game: -2.40 (No. 63)
- 3P%: 33.7 (No. 30)
*among LeBron's other Lakers teammates
Other than Rondo's No. 2-ranked assist numbers, his stats make it nearly impossible to have him on this list. Particularly concerning is Rondo's No. 63-ranked plus/minus per game of -2.40.
However, Rondo's championship experience -- which he gained from years of competing for titles as a Boston Celtic -- was integral to the Lakers winning it all in 2020.
Rondo is one of the few players whose basketball IQ matches or exceeds LeBron's, which makes him a special guy for James to have shared a court with. Although Rondo's lack of three-point shot meant he was a poor basketball fit alongside LeBron, his mind and leadership more than made up for it.
But who tops Rondo as the No. 9 greatest Lakers teammate of LeBron's? Find out below.
