Three bowl games — including the first College Football Playoff matchup — headline Friday's slate of college football.

Notre Dame and Indiana revive a dormant intrastate rivalry, with the upstart Hoosiers looking for another program-defining moment in a season full of them. The Fighting Irish, meanwhile, eye their first-ever CFP win in their third appearance.

Elsewhere, Florida hopes to maintain its late-season surge in the Gasparilla Bowl against Tulane. Freshman quarterback DJ Lagway returned from injury late in the year and revitalized the Gators, who knocked off a pair of top-25 opponents in the last three weeks.

And in the Cure Bowl, Ohio — off its first MAC title since 1968 — meets Jacksonville State. Both programs are set to unveil new head coaches, after Rich Rodriguez (West Virginia) and Tim Albin (Charlotte) departed for new schools.

Here is everything that you need to know about watching college football on Friday.
