The Ducks finished the regular season undefeated, 12-0. It was Oregon's first season in the Big Ten, and it then took down Penn State 45-37 in the Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday.
The Ducks are led by quarterback Dillon Gabriel. In his lone season with Oregon, he threw for 3,275 yards with 26 touchdowns to only six interceptions in the regular season. Running back Jordan James picked up 1,166 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground, while Tez Johnson had 685 yards and nine scores to lead the team's wide receivers.
Having won the Big Ten title game, the Ducks are guaranteed the top spot in the first-ever 12-team College Football Playoff. A loss could have dropped Oregon to the No. 5 seed, but by handling Penn State on conference championship weekend, the Ducks are bound to lead the playoff bracket.

Who will Oregon play next?
Oregon is the No. 1 overall seed in the College Football Playoff and will face No. 8 Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. The Buckeyes, who lost narrowly to Oregon during the regular season, cruised to the Rose Bowl with a 42-17 win over Tennessee in the first round.
If the Rose Bowl between these two is anything like their first meeting earlier in the season, we're in for a treat. These two met during the regular season, and the Ducks beat the Buckeyes 32-31 in Eugene. This time, Ohio State gets Oregon on a neutral field.
