Just a week after the New England Patriots officially introduced former linebacker Mike Vrabel as their 16th head coach in franchise history, they're looking to fill the rest of the staff.
On Monday, New England placed an interview request for Miami Dolphins outside linebacker coach Ryan Crow for their open defensive coordinator position, per ESPN's Mike Reiss.
Prior to coaching with the Dolphins, he spent six seasons coaching under Vrabel with the Tennessee Titans (three seasons as outside linebackers coach, one as assistant special teams coach and two as a defensive assistant).
This is the Patriots' first public request for a defensive coordinator interview. Marcus Brady and Thomas Brown are the only offensive coordinator candidates who have had reported interviews with the team. New England has also decided to keep Jeremy Springer on as special teams coordinator.
