WWE Monday Night Raw (Dec 2 episode) Live Results: CM Punk and Seth Rollins clash, New Day turns on Big E image

Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston have been at odds for months now and the final show before Survivor Series saw their grievances aired out in front of millions of viewers. The multiple-time tag-team champions are at odds and almost came to blows following their loss last week. With the WWE celebrating their 10-year anniversary, will things fall apart in this week's episode of Monday Night Raw? Or will Big E be able to bridge the gap?

That's just the appetizer for Monday's show, however, as there are numerous current superstars with things to handle. Gunther and Bron Breakker successfully defended their World Heavyweight and Intercontinental championships on Saturday. What's next for both?

CM Punk returned to action for the first time since beating Drew McIntyre at Hell in a Cell. What does he have to say about his future? Will he be aimed at a title shot? Seth Rollins was conspicuously absent from the PLE and there's a ton of bad blood between those two...

Will the Wyatt Sicks enact some level of revenge against the Final Testament? What's left for Damien Priest, a return to a feud with Finn Balor after the latter interfered in Priest's chance at Gunther's title?

Also, the first qualifying match in the Women's Intercontinental tournament goes down, setting the stage for the new belt to be awarded over the next month. Will that happen at the inaugural episode on Netflix? It's a ton of action on tap, return here for the goods.

CM Punk Promo

The episode starts, of course, with CM Punk's promo, as he walks in and greets Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. With everyone wondering what favor Paul "The Wise Man" Heyman has to fulfill, the ovation is insane. He addresses the difference between post Hell in a Cell and post War Games. "I know what the future holds," as he points skyward and talks about the road he will take. And right when he talks about all the paths he could take... "BURN IT DOWN!"

Seth Rollins comes out (we were right) ro interrupt. Punk stands with his back to Rollins as he enters, peering over his left shoulder to the opposite ring corner. The crowd continues chanting for Rollins long after the music ends.

"I really shoulda knocked your [expletive] out the same day you came back to WWE," begins Rollins. Rollins says he made a mistake having pity for Punk not finishing him off after Hell in a Cell. He wants to right his wrongs now.

Taking off his jacket, he says the only thing in between them is air and hatred and tonight is the night. Punk contemplates, and says now that Rollins isn't the champ, he has nothing Punk wants, calling him irrelevant. "You been thinking about me for six months? I don't think about you at all." Rollins shoves Punk and they rumble until Uso and Zayn break them up.

Adam Pearce comes out and they try to fight again. Rollins grabs the mic and tells Uso "Jey run back to Roman." Zayn grabs Punk's mic and tells him to kill that noise. Rollins says he gets it, Uso and Reigns are family, but asks Zayn what's his excuse? Challenges him that he stabbed him in the back when he teamed with Reigns.

Zayn cuts back, he didn't want to team with Punk but Rollins turned him down twice, calling him stubborn. Rollins says Zayn wanted him to help Reigns the monster, Zayn zings back that Rollins is the one who created the monster by hitting Reigns with a chair.

Rollins recounts why they each did what they did, professing that Reigns hasn't even apologized and that Zayn is being naive and stupid. Zayn says if you have some frustration to work out, they can do it in the ring.

Match on.

Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez vs Damage CTRL's Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane

Before the match, video of Judgement Day jumping Damien Priest following Finn Balor's interference in his match against Gunther. Cutting back live, Balor and Morgan have calm words about him breaking his promise to leave Priest alone, and Balor shoots back, when they listen to Finn, the Judgement Day will win.

In the ring, it's made clear Morgan is dealing with a back issue from War Games. Sky botches a top-rope move, which is rare for her.  She tries to climb to the top rope, but she's hung upside down. Sky lands a missile drop kick on Rodriguez and Sane adds an Insane Elbow from the other corner.

Rodriguez counters with a superkick and a Tahata Bomb and gets the win.

Morgan, Rodriguez win by pinfall

The two look to jump Damage CTRL but Rhea Ripley comes out to defend. Here and Rodriguez go at it as Morgan escapes out the ring. Rodriguez slips out a Riptide and they go out the ring. Rodriguez throws Ripley's face into the corner of the announcer's table, into her injured orbital bone.

Dakota Kai vs Shayna Baszler vs Katana Chance in IC Qualifier Triple Threat

This matchup and the entire bracket, really, identifies the weakness of the women's division on Raw compared to SmackDown.

Dakota Kai pins Katana Chance.

New Day 10th Anniversary Celebration

Things start with a look back at the three-man weave that was Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. They showed both Kingston and Big E winning singles titles, Big E winning Mr. Money in the Bank and Xavier Woods winning King of the Ring. The 12x tag-team champs seem to be getting along as they enter the ring with Adam Pearce.

First Woods and then Kingston, thank the fans and each other for an incredible 10 years. But the mood turns somber as they prepare to announce that they are parting ways, and then Big E makes an appearance!

E takes to the ring to remind Kingston and Woods how much they've meant to millions of fans, and all of the life moments they've shared together. He declares until he is medically cleared, he is going to serve as the groups manager.

Woods bucks, asking why he waited until the last minute, when things are spiraling out of control. "You left us!" he screams. Kingston joins in, "You left us!" rattling off all the wrestlers who broke their necks and didn't walk away. They rattle off all the things E chose over being on their side, including his desk job.

They tell him to admit that he'll never be cleared and they don't want anything to do with him. The New Day has turned heel.

Gunther (c) vs Dominik Mysterio

Earlier in the show, Balor confronted Gunther demanding a second title shot because of how he helped hi beat Priest for a second time. Gunther decided that Mysterio, since he also beat Preist is more deserving, leading to this match.

Mysterio turns the early tide with a low blow, lands two 619s, and then a frog splash, but Gunther kicks out. Gunther turns that into a Power Bomb and a win.

Gunther wins by pinfall.

Balor jumps in, lands a SlingBlade and a Coup De Gras, telling Mysterio to watch and learn before landing a second and third Coup de Gras.

Backstage Promo

In a pre-match interview for Pete Dunne, Jey Uso got attacked backstage.

Pete Dunne vs R-Truth

Dunne dominates the action but he's so incensed at the crowd and announcers referring to him as Butch, he's yelling at them and R-Truth rolls him up for the quick win.

R-Truth wins by pinfall.

Seth Rollins vs Sami Zayn

Zayn believes that Rollins is the one who attacked Uso.

Rollins tries to land a pedigree, but Sami reverses out of it and lands a Blue ThunderBomb but no pinfall. Rollins rins in and Zayns and Exploder, He tries to run in for a Helluva Kick but instead Rollins lands a Super Kick. He tries to land a Stomp but Zayn rolls out of the ring.

Zayn throws Rollins into the ring post then goes out and grabs a chair saying he knows it was Rollins who attacked Uso. Rollins convinces him he didn't, and Zayn throws the chair out. Rollins pulls a reverse and rolls up Zayn for the three count.

Rollins wins by pinfall.

Zayn looks from in ring as Rollins walks up the ramp. When Zayn turns around he's greeted by a figure in a black hoodie and takes a Claymore to the face. It's Drew McIntyre! He's back.
