Much of the Pittsburgh Steelers' focus during the offseason should be on the offense, where things have gone south over the final four weeks of the 2024 campaign.

Pittsburgh has no doubt had issues on both sides of the ball during its four-game losing streak, but the offense has consistently been a bigger issue thanks to poor quarterback play, lackluster play-calling and a shortage of weapons overall. Add everything up and you have a boring, lifeless offense that needs some juice.

While it remains to be seen who will be under center in 2025, whoever it is will need more help at wide receiver. To address that need, TWSN predicts that the Steelers will trade for Miami Dolphins wideout Tyreek Hill in the offseason.

With the Pittsburgh Steelers having a need at the wide receiver position and not having a clear-cut number one receiver that can take the top off a defense, Hill could be the perfect addition for Mike Tomlin’s Pittsburgh Steelers. A head coach in Mike Tomlin knows how to manage diva wide receiver personalities like Antonio Brown.

Hill made it quite clear following the Dolphins' Week 18 loss that he wants to be traded, and a profile picture change on X has driven that point home even more.

“I don't even know, bro," Hill said. "This is my first time I haven't been in the playoffs. I mean for me, like I said man, I just gotta do what's best for me and my family, dawg. If that's here, or wherever the case may be, man, I'm going to open the door for myself, dawg. I'm opening the door. Like, I'm out, bruh."

Hill had one of the worst seasons of his career in 2024 and is turning 31 in March, so there are concerns with him. However, some of his struggles can definitely be attributed to Tua Tagovailoa's injury and Hill's wrist issue that plagued him for much of the season.

If Hill can recapture his form, he'd be a fantastic running mate for George Pickens and would give the Steelers one of the most lethal one-two punches in the NFL — that is, if Pickens is even in Pittsburgh next year.

Because of his poor attitude, it's very conceivable the Steelers have had enough of their young wide receiver. On top of that, Pickens is up for a contract extension as he enters the final year of his rookie deal in 2025, and if he makes a stink about getting an new deal, that'll be more motivation for Pittsburgh to trade him.

In the event that happens, the Steelers will need two wide receivers instead of one. Hill would be a strong bridge option to the future for Pittsburgh and could easily replace Pickens at the top of the depth chart in the short term.

As a result of their personalities, having Pickens and Hill in the same room would no doubt be a risky undertaking. But the Steelers can't be picky here and must do everything they can to inject some life into an offense that has flatlined.
