In the MD 16 of the Scottish Premiership, Rangers will arrive at Dingwall to face Ross County on the back of a three-match winning streak, showing newfound confidence under Philippe Clement.

Ross County, however, have been strong at home, accumulating 12 of their 15 points at the Global Energy Stadium. So, Rangers will be wary, given their struggles here last season.

While Ross County suffered a heavy defeat at Celtic Park last weekend, they’ll aim to bounce back and make life difficult for the visitors. Though, it won't come easily as Rangers' demonstrated one of their best performances this season with a 6-0 demolition of Kilmarnock in the last game.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Ross County vs. Rangers lineups, team news

Ross County remain without Will Nightingale, who is sidelined with a long-term injury. Max Sheaf, however, might make his first appearance since April after recovering from a muscle issue.

The potential return of Sheaf offers home team some midfield depth as they look to strengthen at home.

Ross County XI (3-4-2-1, right to left): Laidlaw (GK) — Wright, Efete, Leak — Brown, Randall, Nisbet, Reid — Chilvers, White — Hale.

Injured: Nightingale (knee)
Suspended: None

Rangers are unlikely to feature Rabbi Matondo, Oscar Cortes, and Tom Lawrence. The good news, however, is that the trio is nearing return, but Ross County might have come too soon.

As for Neraysho Kasanwirjo's season appears over due to a serious knee injury, with the defender already back at Feyenoord.

Rangers XI (4-2-3-1 right to left): Butland (GK) — Tavernier, Souttar, Balogun, Jefte — Raskin, Hagi — Diomande, Cerny, Igamane — Danilo.

Injured: Matondo (hamstring), Cortes (doubtful), Lawrence (doubtful), Kasanwirjo (knee)
Suspended: None

Ross County vs. Rangers prediction

No one's denying Ross county's home form. But there's still a lot of gap between them and Rangers. Plus, the visitors are in good form under Clement.

So, that momentum alone should be enough for them to close the gap to one point with Aberdeen as the top of the table fight gets serious.

Prediction: Ross County 1-3 Rangers
