In a heartbreaking 88-84 loss on Monday night, the Fever showed progress against the same Sun team that dominated Indiana in the season opener.
Now, the Fever will hit the road for their fifth game in eight days as they take on the Storm. Seattle, which acquired Skylar Diggins-Smith and Nneka Ogwumike during the offseason, has lost three of its first four games to start the 2024 campaign. It will benefit immensely from the debut of Nika Muhl, who is expected to be on the court after missing the opening week because of visa complications.
If there's one reason to tune into the game, it's to see the one-on-one battle between Muhl and Caitlin Clark. During the NCAA Tournament, the UConn guard was a defensive menace against the Iowa star. Clark still managed to score 21 points, but Muhl limited her to 7-of-18 shooting from the field.
