Caitlin Clark playoff ticket prices: Costs for Fever first-round series surpasses 2023 WNBA Finals image

The Caitlin Clark Effect is still going strong in the WNBA as her rookie season reaches a new milestone.

Ticket sales across the league already have seen marked growth in her first season, driven in part by the attention surrounding the first-year Fever phenom. Just under 10,000 tickets were distributed on average for every WNBA game in 2024, up nearly 44% from 2023.

Ticket sales for Indiana's games more than doubled, as Fever attendance jumped from 227,979 to 643,343 in just one year. Indiana also crushed the previous league record for average attendance at home and away games (16,084), surpassing a mark set in 1998 by the New York Liberty by close to 3,000 fans.

Of the 37 games this WNBA season to draw crowds greater than 16,000 fans, Clark played in 32.

As attendance has increased, so too have ticket prices. Less than a month ago, Clark's marquee matchup against rival Angel Reese and the Sky stood as the most expensive game in WNBA history, with average ticket prices topping $300.

With the Fever making their first playoff appearance since 2016, then, it's no wonder the get-in price for Clark's first postseason series is setting records as well. Here's everything to know about ticket prices to see the rookie phenom in the playoffs.

While tickets for first-round games of the 2023 WNBA playoffs generally started around $25, those did not feature the leading scorer in the history of NCAA basketball. According to Stubhub, the cheapest seat to see Clark play the Connecticut Sun is $65 for Game 3 in Indiana — a contest that may not even be played in the best-of-three series.

The most expensive tickets for the series are more than $4,200. And even the lower end of the spectrum is becoming out of reach for the average WNBA fan when considering added fees. Just one game at the cheapest price could cost more than $100 per ticket, and it's only the first round.

Here's a look at the price range for tickets to the Fever vs. Sun series, including how to buy on Stubhub.

When prices were revealed for the series set to begin this Sunday in Uncasville, Connecticut, ticket marketplace TickPick was quick to recognize a stunning statistic comparing the cost of seats at Clark's playoff debut to last year's WNBA Finals.

While it may not be the same for other ticketing services like Stubhub, TickPick posted to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday that the cheapest ticket price to see a first-round game between the Fever and Sun ($133) is more expensive than the total cost to attend every game of the 2023 title series at the cheapest price ($131) according to the platform's listings for both events.
