Is Snoop Dogg competing at the Olympics? Explaining the amusing AI photos showing rap icon playing USA sports image

Snoop Dogg is all over the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Whether its cheering on Team USA at gymnastics and swimming events or holding the Olympic torch, the rap icon is a prominent presence at these Summer Games.

He's a special correspondent for NBC's Olympic coverage, and he seems to be enjoying his role in Paris so far. One thing he hasn't tackled yet, though, is actually competing in the sports.

That didn't stop fans from using artificial intelligence to generate photos of the 52-year-old rapper in Team USA uniforms. The world no longer has to imagine what he would look like as an Olympian.

Is Snoop Dogg competing at the Olympics?

No, Snoop Dogg has not and will not compete at the Olympics. He is at the 2024 Paris Games as NBC's special correspondent, so he's providing his unique coverage of numerous events.

He's been seen cheering on Team USA as well as serving as a torch bearer for the nation during the opening ceremony. He's also been meeting with multiple different teams and even got in some practice.

Perhaps he'll be a last resort if any U.S. squad needs help. It's unlikely he would turn down another side quest to his already interesting life.
