The Packers (2-2) travel to California this Sunday afternoon to face the Rams (1-3) at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood in a clash of NFC playoff hopefuls.
Green Bay welcomed the return of their starting quarterback, Jordan Love, last Sunday, but the outcome wasn't what they had hoped for.
The Packers quickly found themselves trailing 28-0 against their fierce rivals, the Minnesota Vikings, before Love led a spirited comeback that ultimately fell short, resulting in a 31-29 defeat. In Love's absence, the Packers went 2-0 with backup quarterback Malik Willis stepping in under center.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Rams were widely expected to challenge the 49ers for the division crown this season, especially after making the playoffs in 2023 despite the retirement of future Hall-of-Famer Aaron Donald. However, the Rams have been hit hard by injuries, particularly at wide receiver, and their struggles continued on Sunday as they dropped to 1-3 with a 24-18 loss to the Bears in Chicago.
