Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season features a number of preseason favorites looking to right their respective seasons before it's too late.

Since 2002, 103 NFL teams have began the season 0-3, and only one — the 2018 Texans — managed to make the playoffs. Nine teams hope to avoid that fate in Week 3.

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens (0-2) have suffered a pair of late-game losses, each in the final seconds. To avoid the dreaded 0-3 start, Baltimore will have to defeat Dak Prescott and the Cowboys, who are hungry themselves after a humbling, 44-19 loss to the Saints last week.

Joe Burrow's Bengals (0-2) let a fourth-quarter lead slip away last week, losing to the Chiefs on a field goal as time expired. Now Cincinnati contends with the upstart Commanders as Burrow's fellow LSU alum Jayden Daniels makes his third career NFL start.

The Eagles (1-1) had an undefeated start within reach, only for Kirk Cousins to lead a stirring Atlanta comeback. Now Philadelphia looks to bounce back against the surprising Saints (2-0), whose domineering play makes for one of the best early-season storylines.

The Sporting News has you covered with everything that you need to know about Week 3 of the NFL season.
