The New York Giants (0-2) are still searching for their first win of the season and now hit the road to face the Cleveland Browns (1-1) in Week 3.

After making some brutal NFL history in the Week 2 loss against the Washington Commanders, the Giants find themselves at the start of another disappointing season.

Even though they looked much better in Week 2 than in the season opener, they still face a stiff challenge with a Browns defense that will likely give Daniel Jones and the offense some trouble.

Ahead of the Week 3 matchup, Sporting News will have the latest updates on the injury report for the Giants throughout the week.

Italics indicate a change in participation from previous practice.

Did Not Practice

Wednesday, Sept. 18: CB Nick McCloud (knee)

Thursday, Sept. 19: CB Nick McCloud, LB Isaiah Simmons (personal)

McCloud hasn't practiced since suffering a knee injury in Week 1, and it appears the Giants may be without his services again in Week 3 after not practicing Thursday. Simmons didn't practice Thursday after being limited, but head coach Brian Daboll told reporters he's expected to play.

Limited Participant

Wednesday, Sept. 18: LB Darius Muasau (knee), S Isaiah Simmons (personal), OLB Kayvon Thibodeaux (shoulder)

Thursday, Sept. 19: LB Darius Muasau (knee), OLB Kayvon Thibodeaux (shoulder)

After missing the Week 2 game due to a knee injury, Muasau has returned to practice on a limited basis. The rookie played 82% of the defensive snaps and 42% of the special teams snaps in Week 1. Thibodeaux is still one to watch after generating five pressures in Week 2, according to Next Gen Stats.
