The Indianapolis Colts (0-2) will host the Chicago Bears (1-1) at Lucas Oil Stadium for a Week 3 matchup on Sunday.
While the Colts didn't rule any players out on their final injury report, the Bears ruled out four players, including one starter on the offensive side of the ball.
The Colts are looking to avoid an 0-3 start for the first time since the 2021 season and just the second time since 2011.
It will be a battle of essentially two rookie quarterbacks with No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams looking to further his game while Anthony Richardson is set to make his sixth career NFL start.
We'll make any updates to this if either team makes changes to their injury reports Saturday, but these are the players with injury designations for the Week 3 matchup.
Colts vs. Bears Week 3: Full injury designations
Indianapolis Colts
Questionable
- WR Michael Pittman Jr. (back, calf)
- DE Laiatu Latu (hip)
Pittman was a late addition to the injury report this week as a non-participant on Friday. Head coach Shane Steichen seemed optimistic about his chance to play, but this is still something to monitor. Latu took a step in the right direction after suffering a hip injury in Week 2. However, he was only a limited participant during Friday's practice so he is a true game-time decision.
No Designation
- K Matt Gay (quad)
- S Julian Blackmon (shoulder)
- WR Josh Downs (ankle)
- S Rodney Thomas II (shoulder)
- C Ryan Kelly (not-injury related)
- OT Braden Smith (knee)
Gay was on the injury report with a new quad injury, but he practiced in full twice to end the week. Downs will make his much-anticipated season-debut after battling an ankle sprain he suffered in training camp. Kelly and Smith didn't practice on Friday, but both are expected to play, barring a change in their statuses.

- WR Keenan Allen (heel, personal)
- FB Khari Blasingame (hand, knee)
- DL Zacch Pickens (groin)
- RB Travis Homer (finger)
Allen will miss his second consecutive game, which means Williams will rely on DJ Moore and Rome Odunze in the passing game.
Questionable
- OL Nate Davis (groin)
Davis was limited to begin the first two practices of the week but was a full participant on Friday so he should be expected to play.
No Designation

- TE Marcedes Lewis (rest)
- OT Kiran Amegadije (quadriceps)

Odunze will make another start while battling a knee injury while Sweat and Walker were full participants on Friday.
