Just when we think we're making our way out of the woods in terms of the disrespect of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, someone manages to pull us back in.

This time around, that someone is Pro Football Focus' Nathan Jahnke, who recently put out his fantasy football rankings for 2024 and placed Jared Goff as the No. 127 overall player, and the No. 18 quarterback.

Unfortunately, we didn't get an explanation from Jahnke in the article, but it wouldn't matter what he says, to be honest. That ranking is egregiously low and there is no way to support it.

Over the past two seasons, Goff has ranked second in passing yards and third in passing scores among all quarterbacks en route to ranking as QB10 and QB6 in fantasy football.

Goff is surrounded by one of the best offenses in the league once again this year, with special weapons like tight end Sam LaPorta and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown to throw to. Also, he plays behind the best offensive line in the sport.

There is absolutely zero reason to believe that Goff will fall off this season, and there is actually more to support the idea that he could even best what he's done in each of the last two years.

Goff will be a top-10 fantasy quarterback in 2024, and the only question is how high he will end up in that top 10.
