Third time's a charm.

In the final season of the four-team College Football Playoff format, Michigan captured its first national title since 1997. The Wolverines made it to three straight playoffs, losing in the semifinals in the first two, before advancing to the title game this time. They beat Alabama in the Rose Bowl before facing Washington in the final, beating the Huskies 34-13.

To celebrate the Wolverines' accomplishment, Ann Arbor will host a celebratory parade for the team days a week after the game in Houston.
