Duke has never beaten Florida State through 21 matchups. Could this be the year?

The No. 16 Blue Devils are off to a hot 5-1 start, falling only to Notre Dame on a last-minute touchdown. Against the Irish is where QB Riley Leonard went down with a high ankle sprain, keeping him out when Duke played NC State two weeks later after a bye week. Freshman Henry Belin IV stepped in and got the start but completed only 4 of 12 passes. The Blue Devils will need Leonard more than ever, and it's a possibility we'll see him against the Noles. Coach Mike Elko says he is day-to-day but could likely see time on the field.

At 6-0, Florida State is a top contender for the playoffs. The Seminoles have been pretty dominant, but almost lost to Clemson, as the game went to overtime. Behind Jordan Travis, though, anything is possible.

The Seminoles are first in the ACC in scoring offense, averaging 42.2 points per game. But on the other side, Duke has one of the best defenses. It's the only ACC school to average 30 points a game and allow less than 15 points a game. Jordan Travis will have much to overcome with the Blue Devil defense allowing only 164.7 passing yards per game.

The Seminoles are still the clear favorite and will have a huge advantage when they take the field at home in Tallahassee.
