Months of competition have culminated to this point of the League of Legends season.

Fans have witnessed teams win their respective league split titles, and now have the opportunity to watch the first international final of the 2024 season.

This year's Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) has increased stakes, since the winning team will punch its ticket to the 2024 League of Legends World Tournament later this year. It's an additional reward to the bumper cash prize.

The 2024 champion will be a first-time winner, as Gen G. of the LCK faces Bilibili Gaming (BLG) of the LPL in a best-of-five final series. Both squads are their league's respective top seed.

Gen G. is making its first-ever MSI final appearance, after winning all three games of the tournament. BLG has reached the MSI final for the second straight season. The top-seeded LPL squad enters with a 3-1 record.

Gen G. won the previous MSI matchup 3-1 vs. BLG on May 16. You can see the full breakdown of the tournament schedule and results so far here.

The Mid-Season Invitational championship is not broadcasted on TV, so fans will have to watch via a live stream. The official broadcast can be viewed on lolesports.com.

Where is the 2024 MSI championship?

MSI 2024 is being held in the Chengdu Financial City Performing Arts Center in Chengdu, China. The championship will also be in this arena.

What time is the 2024 MSI championship?

  • Time: 5 a.m. ET/9 a.m. GMT

China hosted the 2024 Mid-Season Invitational, which means western fans will have to wake up early or stay up late to watch games live.

The championship's best-of-five series will begin at 5 a.m. ET or 9 a.m. GMT.

Since MSI began in 2015, there have been five different teams to win the international tournament. Royal Never Give Up has the most titles with three and SK Telecom T1, now known as T1, has two championships.
