When it comes to softball, there's no place like Oklahoma. That's why Oklahoma State is headed to the Women's College World Series for the fifth straight year.

The Cowgirls, based just an hour north of Oklahoma City, enter the final stage of the NCAA softball tournament with high hopes after sweeping Arizona in the super regionals. Despite their continuous success, they've never reached the championship series of the tournament. That all may change this year as the No. 5 seed.

First, they need to get through Florida. The Gators won the SEC tournament to earn the No. 4 overall seed. They prevailed over Baylor in the supers to return to the WCWS for the first time since 2019. And Florida is hot. During its series against Baylor, redshirt senior Skylar Wallace cemented her place in history as Division I's all-time runs leader.

It's anyone's game in the opening round of the WCWS. Fortunately, it's double elimination, so the loser of the Oklahoma State-Florida game won't have to go home immediately.

Here's everything to know to watch the matchup, including TV and game time information.
