Packers vs. Dolphins Week 13 showdown: Prediction for Green Bay Thanksgiving matchup image

The Green Bay Packers will face off against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night in the final game of the National Football League's 2024 Thanksgiving slate.

Green Bay blew out the San Francisco 49ers last week, 38-10. The Packers' defense thrived and San Francisco couldn't move the ball. Star quarterback Jordan Love had 163 yards passing with two touchdowns and Josh Jacobs had 106 yards on the ground and tallied three touchdowns.

Miami has won three straight games with Tua Tagovailoa back under center. The Dolphins are coming off a big 34-15 win over the New England Patriots last week. Tagovailoa shined in the win and had 317 passing yards and four touchdowns in the win.

Green Bay and Miami will face off at Lambeau Field on Thursday night with kick-off scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET.

Here's a prediction for the Packers-Dolphins Thanksgiving showdown:

Green Bay - 38 Miami - 31

The Packers are 8-3 on the season and clearly are one of the top teams in the NFC. Green Bay has looked like a real Super Bowl contender and Thursday's game will be a big test of that fact. Miami has a lot of firepower and it should be a back-and-forth game against Miami.

Both the Packers and Dolphins have a lot of weapons and so points shouldn't be hard to come by, but Green Bay is the better team on paper and should have the edge here at home.
