All eyes will be on Brooklyn in the first round as it hosts defending national champion and No. 1 overall seed UConn.
The very first games announced on Selection Sunday featured the Brooklyn pod with UConn taking on 16-seed Stetson along with 8-seed FAU vs. 9-seed Northwestern.
Joining UConn in Brooklyn is 4-seed Duke, which up until an early exit in the ACC Tournament was eyeing a potential 2-seed. The Blue Devils will take on 13-seed Vermont. The winner of that game will play either 5-seed Wisconsin or 12-seed James Madison.

Regional games begin Thursday, March 28, and fully conclude Sunday, March 31. Boston, Las Angeles, Dallas and Detroit are the host cities for Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games.

March Madness Final Four 2024 schedule
The semifinals and final of the NCAA men's basketball tournament will be played in Phoenix, Arizona, for just the second time. State Farm Arena previously hosted the Final Four in 2017. North Carolina fans will surely be hoping for history to repeat itself as the Tar Heels took down Gonzaga in the national championship game the last time the Final Four was played in Arizona.
The semifinal games will be played Saturday, April 6, while the championship will be played Monday, April 8.
