As the college football regular season winds down, the pinnacle of games still looms. Army and Navy are ready to meet in the annual rivalry game.
For just the second time, the programs will face off in the nation's capital (or 10 miles away). Northwest Stadium, home of the NFL's Commanders, will play host to the mid-December matchup. Last time the Midshipmen and Black Knights played in Landover, Army took home the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy with a six-point victory.
Days after the CFP selection show, both programs, who had record 6-0 starts, can relax, as this rivalry game won't affect their postseason draws. It's especially beneficial for the Black Knights, who will be days off their AAC Championship appearance.
