It was another injury-filled season for UConn. Five players suffered injuries prior to or during the season, keeping them out for the year. That includes Carolina Ducharme, Aubrey Griffin, Ayanna Patterson, Azzi Fudd and Jana El Alfy, most who were expected to make significant contributions in a deep lineup.
Instead, the Huskies have done with what they have. Even without Aaliyah Edwards, who suffered a broken nose and missed conference tournament time, UConn won its fourth straight Big East tournament title. Now, it's time for the NCAA tournament.
UConn landed a 3-seed in the Portland 3 region. The Huskies open up in Storrs, CT on Friday against 14-seed Jackson State who enters on a 21-game win streak. Also joining them in Storrs are 6-seed Syracuse and either Auburn or Arizona who face off in the First Four.
UConn is part of a loaded regional that includes 1-seed USC powered by JuJu Watkins and 2-seed Ohio State, who beat the Huskies in last year's Sweet 16.

The powerhouse knows who to play when it comes to the national tournament, but does it have the strength this time around? The Huskies went perfect in conference play, but struggled against ranked teams during the season. Their five losses were by at least 10 points each time.
Luckily, they head into March Madness on a nine game winning streak and three consecutive 27-point games by Paige Bueckers.
Here's everything to know to catch Bueckers and UConn during the NCAA tournament, including schedule and ticket information.
