The Detroit Lions have yet another injury concern in their Week 13 game against the Chicago Bears after defensive lineman Levi Onwuzurike got banged-up near the end of the first half.
The injury occurred late in the second quarter and Onwuzurike is now the second Lions defender to get hurt in the Thanksgiving Day game versus the Bears. Lions defensive end Josh Paschal also exited due to a knee injury and was ruled as questionable to return.
Onwuzurike laid down on the field for a period of time before he got up and was able to walk off under his own power, which is a good sign that he's avoided something catastrophic.
Here's the latest update on the former second-round pick.

END OF UPDATE
Onwuzurike was spotted heading to the locker room after walking off the field under his own power, but it was also near the end of the first half, so that isn't necessarily indicative of anything.
He's heading to the locker room, although there are only 9 seconds left.

Onwuzurike is in the midst of a breakout season in 2024. It was apparent he was turning the corner during the offseason, and he has continued impressing during the regular season.
