NBA DFS picks for today, Monday, April 29: NBA Playoffs first round

Jayson Tatum 41.5 points + rebounds + assists: HIGHER

Through three games in the NBA playoffs, Tatum has averaged 40.3 points, rebounds and assists per game. Tonight's game is a chance for the Celtics to take a controlling 3-1 series lead, and we expect Tatum to have a standout performance. He had a 39 in Game 3, but he came out early in the fourth quarter with the team leading comfortably. Tonight's game will be much closer, which should lead to Tatum matching or coming close to the 20-plus point triple-double he had in Game 1.

Jaylen Brown 21.5 points: HIGHER

Brown is a scorer, and he has been doing it at a high pace throughout the regular season and in the playoffs. He averaged 23 points per game in the regular season, and through three playoff games, he has increased his average to 24 a game. He has also scored more than 21.5 points in two straight games and should do it again tonight.

LeBron James 41.5 points+rebounds+assists: HIGHER

LeBron helped keep his Lakers alive in Game 4 and will need another big performance in Game 5 if he wants to keep Los Angeles in the postseason. LeBron has been scoring the ball really well in the playoffs, too. He has upped his average from 25.7 in the regular season to 27.3 in the postseason. Combine that with his standard output of 7-plus rebounds and 8-plus assists, plus the importance of tonight's game, and King James goes for closer to 50 combined points, rebounds and assists.
