Bryant guard Ikenna Ndugba avoided the defense, threw the ball up in the air and watched as time expired. It would have been a perfect ending — if his team was winning.
Monday night's contest between Bryant and Brown ended in unusual fashion as both teams traded big shots late in the game.

Bryant guard Nisre Zouzoua hit a 3-pointer to put the Bulldogs ahead 90-89 with 11.3 seconds remaining. Brown's Tavon Blackmon answered with a layup, giving the Bears the lead with 3.8 on the clock.
Ndugba then took the ball to halfcourt with a surprising lack of urgency, eventually heaving it toward the ceiling. The clock hit 0.0. Ndugba appeared to go over to a teammate in search of a victory high five. Oops. Final score: Brown 91, Bryant 90.

Ndugba probably wishes he could have this moment back. That's a tough break for the freshman, but hopefully he takes it as a learning experience. Always check the time and score.
