WWE announced Friday that it has come to terms on the release of Jose Rodriguez, better known as Alberto Del Rio.
This move had been widely expected for weeks, ever since Del Rio was suspended in Aug. 17 for a Wellness Policy violation, along with his girlfriend Paige. She is also expected to be released soon, although WWE has been silent on the subject to date.

Del Rio and his attorney, Keith McMahon, responded to the news on Twitter.
