What a way to introduce yourself to football's big stage!

Real Madrid teenage star Endrick made his UEFA Champions League debut today, writing himself into the record books in their 3-1 win over Stuttgart at the Bernebau.

Despite being just 18 years old, the Brazilian looked right at home, scoring Madrid's third goal of the game after coming off the bench in the 80th minute.

Endrick breaks Raul's longstanding record

In the 95th minute, with Madrid leading 2-1, Endrick capped off Madrid's victory with a stunning left-foot strike, showing plenty of confidence as he came in on goal.

Picking the ball up in his own half, flanked by Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior on a counter-attack, Endrick didn't hesitate, striking a powerful shot from outside the box, wrongfooting Stuttgart goalkeeper Alexander Nubel to become Madrid's youngest-ever Champions League goalscorer.

At 18 years and 58 days, the Brazilian broke club legend Raul's record of 18 years and 113 days, with the Spaniard scoring against Ferencvaros in 1995.

"He has balls!" Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said postgame.

"Endrick had courage. It was the last move of the game. He was convinced he'd score. He went for the most difficult solution, but it went well."

It's been an impressive start to life in Madrid for Endrick, who also scored in his La Liga debut against Valladolid, becoming the youngest player to score in his La Liga debut for Madrid in the 21st century.

“I'm very happy with my debut and my first goal in the Champions League in my career," Endrick told RealMadrid.com

"In the league, I think I was one of the youngest to score for Madrid and today too, but that doesn't matter. The important thing is to help the team.”

Goals from Kylian Mbappe and Antonio Rudiger helped Madrid to a 13th-straight home win in the Champions League, kicking off their title defence in style.

They will next face Lille away in the Champions League, followed by a rematch of the 2024 final against Borussia Dortmund at the Bernebau.
