The Seattle Seahawks are in the middle of a mini-bye week, as they're getting nine days off between games. It's a badly-needed respite for a roster that's been decimated by injuries to all three levels of their defense. They're also likely about to promote what will be their fourth starting right tackle of the year off the practice squad.

Even with a few extra days off to rest, it's difficult to see this Seattle team winning games against all but the worst teams around the league. That's not going to happen this week, because next up on the schedule are the Atlanta Falcons, who are 4-2 but should actually be 5-1 accounting for the dynasty effect that makes the Kansas City Chiefs the favorites in the hearts and minds of the officials.

Seahawks-Falcons odds for Week 7

So, it should come as no surprise that the 3-3 Seahawks are underdogs for this one, especially because they're playing on the road. According to the latest odds at DraftKings Sportsbook, the Falcons are favored by three points.

Atlanta is fresh off a convincing victory over the Carolina Panthers as they blew them away in the fourth quarter. They won 38-20 but also sat on a pick-six against Andy Dalton late in the game. The Falcons won mostly with solid defense and an outstanding run game, as Tyler Allgeier and Bijan Robinson combined for 200 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

Odds are that two-headed monster dynamic is going to be a problem for the Seahawks, because their run defense is getting worse every week - and it wasn't great to begin with.
