BOOM or DOOM: Fantasy players that could thrive on TNF image

The Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings square off on Thursday for a TNF showdown. The obvious fantasy plays are Kyren Williams and Justin Jefferson.

But there are a few other guys to keep an eye on:

1. Cooper Kupp

Kupp suffered an ankle injury in Week 1 and hasn’t played since.

The veteran wideout is back in the Rams’ lineup and should be a key target in his first game back. Since entering the league in 2017, Kupp has averaged more than 10 yards per reception every season.

His injury history is certainly a concern, but expect Matthew Stafford to feed Kupp in his first game back. The Rams have relied on Tutu Atwell and Demarcus Robinson without Kupp.

Kupp will likely bring the boom as a slot option for Los Angeles.

2. Jalen Nailor

With Jefferson and Jordan Addison playing large roles in Minnesota’s offense, Jalen Nailor is often overlooked — but he shouldn’t be.

Nailor, a third-year player out of Michigan State, is having his best NFL season to date. The receiver caught four passes for 76 yards in the Vikings’ 31-29 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

He isn’t the safe WR1 option that Jefferson is, but Nailor is a safe flex play.

3. Blake Corum

Williams will certainly lead the Rams’ backfield, but if you’re desperate, rookie Blake Corum could be a decent flex option.

A running back out of Michigan, Corum has potential to be a starter in the league. He isn’t there yet, but the Rams have shown that they’re trying to get him more involved in the offense.

Corum ran for just 11 yards in the Rams’ win over the Raiders, but the rookie back has big-play potential and has shown the ability to get yards after contact. Corum isn’t necessarily a safe play on Thursday, but with an injury plague across the league, he should be considered as a flex player.
