Caleb Williams and the Bears have certainly earned their bye week. The 2024 No. 1 draft pick has led Chicago to three straight victories — by a combined score of 95-44 — and the Chi is suddenly right in the thick of a loaded NFC North race.

Only 10 teams in the entire NFL have scored more points than the Bears, and only five squads have averaged more points over their past three games. Williams now sits back near the top of the Rookie of the Year odds, hovering between +155 and +165 on most sportsbooks.

Now Matt Eberflus's team has a chance to rest up and prepare for perhaps the greatest challenge of Williams' young career: a battle with fellow Rookie of the Year candidate Jayden Daniels and the Commanders in the nation's capital.

No hyperbole: this game could easily be a deciding factor in the Rookie of the Year race. It could also play a part in both teams' playoff chances, with Chicago and Washington both among the seven squads in the NFC with four wins.

You won't want to miss this conference clash, so be sure to plan your watch party now. The Commanders are tied for an NFC-best 29.6 points per game, while the Bears have averaged 35.5 over the past two weeks.
