Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum cannot fathom leaving the team at any point in his career, per Noa Dalzell. Tatum wishes to be a lifelong Celtic, and cannot imagine anything else.

“I was drafted in 2017…My son was born here. I bought my first car here. And for me, I admire and love all the relationships I’ve built within the organization…The relationships I’ve built over the last seven, eight years, I can’t imagine starting over and leaving them or this place.”

In his seven years as a Celtic, Tatum has averaged 23 points, seven rebounds, three and a half assists, and a steal per game.

Tatum has also helped lead or led the team to the Eastern Conference Finals five times, winning two of them and getting MVP in one of them. He has three All-NBA first team appearances, five All-Star appearances and an All-Star MVP, and won the most recent NBA Finals, ending a sixteen year drought for the franchise.

Tatum also signed a new contract to stay with the team for another half decade, so he won’t be going anywhere soon. Tatum is also only 26, so he still has a lot of basketball left in him. And, if he can choose where he plays it, it will be with Boston.
