Boston Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow has a full offseason ahead of him, as he'll be tasked with identifying his team's biggest needs and addressing them through free agency or trades before the start of the 2025 season.

While second base is a position that's completely up in the air for Boston next year, they may have some inside options who could take the position and run with it, including Vaughn Grissom and fast-rising prospect Kristian Campbell.

However, with uncertainty among the rest of the roster, there's a chance that one, both or players at other positions get moved in a trade, so the Red Sox may have to look elsewhere for help at second base.

If they do, here's who they could sign this offseason:

UFA

  • Gleyber Torres, 27
  • Brandon Drury, 32
  • Donovan Solano, 36
  • Thairo Estrada, 28
  • Danny Mendick, 31
  • Luis Guillorme, 30
  • Diego Castillo, 26
  • Keston Hiura, 28

Club Option

  • Jorge Polanco, 31
  • Brandon Lowe, 30
  • David Bote, 31

Mutual Option

  • Adam Frazier, 36
