In this day and "Mage," anything is possible — so why can't the rookie do it again?

The second leg of the Triple Crown — the 2023 Preakness Stakes — is upon us and all of the attention will be focused on whether Mage can continue his magical ride. The Kentucky Derby winner comes into Baltimore as the favorite and with a win could eye a historic victory at Belmont.

Multiple 3-year-old contenders, like Forte, will not race after being scratched for a variety of reasons. It has become a major storyline through the Kentucky Derby and now the Preakness — almost overshadowing the races.

For Mage and jockey Javier Castellano, they'll look to become the first to sweep the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes since Justify last did in 2018.
