The 2022 Preakness Stakes isn't quite as deep as the Kentucky Derby was, but it will be just as unpredictable. With Derby winner Rich Strike sitting out the race and aiming for the Belmont Stakes, the field is wide open.

Epicenter, the second-place finisher at the Derby, is currently the favorite, but other racehorses like Simplification and Early Voting will give him a run for his money in the 1 3/16-mile race. Meanwhile, Secret Oath will look to become the seventh filly to win the race in its history and just the third since 1924.

So, while we won't get to see the triple crown completed in 2022, there are plenty of intriguing storylines to follow at Pimlico Race Course.

Here's everything to know about how to watch the Preakness Stakes in 2022, including the channel it's on and the post time.
