From the opening race in Bahrain to the final final weekend in Abu Dhabi, Formula One is certain to be a brisk ticket-seller again in 2023.

There are 24 races scheduled for the F1 season and some race days and weekends had already sold out before the action began.

The total attendance for the 2022 season is said to have exceeded five million people, with the British Grand Prix weekend alone reputedly accounting for around 400,000 spectators across its race weekend in July.

How to buy tickets for the 2023 F1 season

Some tickets for each race are available via the ticket section of the official F1 website.

Many of the races also have their own official site where fans are able to buy tickets. Here's the schedule for the season and the official website of each race:

How much are tickets for F1 races?

Ticket prices and availability for the 2023 F1 season can vary significantly depending on the race and where the tickets are on sale.

The official site of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, for example, lists tickets for race day starting at around $81 (£67).

Race day tickets for the British Grand Prix, meanwhile, were priced at $360 (£299) on its official site and had sold out along with all weekend tickets at the start of March,

Even when standard race tickets are sold out, the official F1 site usually has some available for races, but they tend to be much more expensive premium tickets, advertising weekend passes for the US Grand Prix, for instance, at between $3,997 (£3,324) and $7,826 (£6,509).

F1 2023 driver lineup

There are multiple line up changes for the 2023 season in Formula One with six drivers set to turn out for new teams. 

The most high profile switch arguably comes in the form of veteran Fernando Alonso who will race with Aston Martin 2023, whilst French driver Pierre Gasly swapped AlphaTauri for Alpine in the off-season.

His former seat has been filled by rookie Nyck De Vries, whilst fellow rookies Logan Sargeant and Oscar Piastri will race for Williams and McLaren respectively. Nico Hulkenberg also returns to the sport with Hasas for the upcoming season.
