Tottenham will hope to ride the momentum that comes from the rare feeling of thrashing Pep Guardiola's Manchester City 4-0 at their own stadium into their UEFA Europa League showdown at home to Serie A outfit Roma on Thursday.
Ange Postecoglou's side have had a rollercoaster 2024/25 so far, with the definitive win over City undoubtedly the biggest high to date.
And should they emerge victorious at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium over a Roma side now managed by former Premier League winner Claudio Ranieri, it could serve as a season-defining week for the Lilywhites.
Spurs sit seventh in the Europa League table heading into the fifth matchweek, having won three of their four games. The Italian side, meanwhile, are down in 20th having only picked up one European win this campaign.

Tottenham vs. Roma lineups, predicted starting 11, team news
Tottenham's Italian goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is likely out for the remainder of 2024 with a fractured ankle, which he bravely played through for over an hour in the big win at Man City. Fraser Forster is the likely replacement between the sticks.
Micky van de Ven and Richarlison's hamstring issues will also likely keep the duo on the sidelines until we enter December, while Wilson Odobert's similar injury is set to keep him out of action for a while longer than that following surgery.
Cristian Romero, on the other hand, could be available to return from an ankle injury for the Roma game, though Postecoglou may not wish to rush the defender back. Mikey Moore could also be included in the matchday squad following an illness.
Away from the trainer's room, teenager Will Lankshear is suspended after both scoring and seeing red in the match against Galatasaray. However, Rodrigo Bentancur's lengthy ban for his comments about teammate Son Heung-min applies only to domestic competitions, so he's available to face Roma.
Tottenham predicted lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Forster (GK) — Gray, Dragușin, Davies, Udogie — Bergvall, Bentancur — Johnson, Kulusevski, Werner — Solanke
Injured: Vicario (ankle), Van de Ven, Richarlison, Odobert (all hamstring)
Suspended: Lankshear

Roma will be without Alexis Saelemaekers and Eldor Shomurodov thanks to injuries, with the Belgian winger set to need just a little more time before returning from an ankle problem and the Uzbekistan striker hurting his groin on international duty. Mario Hermoso has an outside chance of returning from a muscle strain that has kept him out for a few weeks, though.
Paulo Dybala's gradual return to the starting lineup, meanwhile, could continue in London after Ranieri brought him on from the bench late in the recent Serie A game against Napoli.
Roma predicted lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Svilar (GK) — Celik, Mancini, Ndicka, Angelino — Kone, Cristante — Pellegrini, El Shaarawy, Dybala — Dovbyk
Injured: Saelemaekers (ankle), Shomurodov (groin), Hermoso (muscle strain)
Suspended: None
