The Kansas City Chiefs have spent most of the offseason trying to upgrade their offensive line. They signed Jaylon Moore and drafted Josh Simmons in the first round.

However, the Chiefs could address their defense in the last stages of free agency. Von Miller remains unsigned, and Sports Illustrated's Fernando Alfaro-Donis suggested the Chiefs should sign him. Miller signed a six-year, $120 million deal with the Buffalo Bills in 2022, but was released this offseason.

"The two-time Super Bowl winner Von Miller has yet to reach an agreement with an NFL team after he spent the last three years with the Buffalo Bills," wrote Alfaro-Donis. "There'd be so many storylines if he were to join the Chiefs next season. He'd be rejoining the AFC West after being a part of the Denver Broncos for the majority of his career, and he'd be joining the bitter rival of the Bills. Additionally, Miller would have the opportunity to be the second player in NFL history to win the Super Bowl three times with three different teams."

Miller has a case to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. He is an eight-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro. He was also the MVP of Super Bowl 50. He has 129.5 career sacks and is the active leader in the NFL.

He had eight sacks in his first season with the Bills. His second season with the team was disappointing as he did not record a single sack. However, last season he had six sacks in 13 games. He is no longer the player he once was, but he showed he still has some good football left in him. His release created $8.3 million in cap space for the Bills.

"Miller would add another veteran presence to their defensive front, and while his days of insane production may be over, he'd still be a force to be reckoned with paired up with Chris Jones," wrote Alfaro-Donis.
