The Las Vegas Raiders officially introduced both head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Spytek in a press conference on Monday and the pair addressed several topics.
The Raiders had both current and former players in attendance for the presser, a group that included both star edge rusher Maxx Crosby and former running back Marshawn Lynch, who spent two seasons with the Raiders but also played for the current Raiders head coach during his days with the Seattle Seahawks.
While Lynch was all the way in the back during the presser, he made sure to make his presence felt by interrupting it in the best way possible when he yelled out "Raiders" while Carroll was speaking.

Lynch spent seven seasons in Seattle playing under Carroll and had a ton of success there with four seasons of 1,200-plus yards, including a career-best 1,590 in 2012. And, of course, Lynch and Carroll won a Super Bowl together.
After retiring for a season, Lynch returned to play for the Raiders for two years before landing back in Seattle for the final year of his career in 2019.
When it comes to getting the Raiders on the right track, Carroll said that the team will go for it "immediately" and try to get the ship righted as soon as possible.
“It took us a few years to get to the very top of the last couple programs I was with,” Carroll said, according to Tashan Reed and Vic Tafur of The Athletic. “We’re starting right now and going for it immediately. … We’re going to start right now, (we’re) going to go after it and build this team as quickly as we can.”
Las Vegas has a ton of resources to turn this thing around quickly. The Raiders will have at least eight picks in this year's draft, and quite possibly as many as 10, as Las Vegas is projected to have a pair of sixth-round compensatory picks, also.
On top of that, the Raiders are projected to have a grand total of $92.3 million in cap space, per Over the Cap, which is the second-most in the NFL.
But, as we know, resources are nothing if a team makes bad decisions with them. And, the Raiders getting the quarterback decision correct will be paramount to getting this franchise back on track.
