Ranking top trade destinations for Philadelphia 76ers wing Kelly Oubre Jr....

4. Golden State Warriors

There is nothing wrong with a reunion. Oubre played with the Warriors in the 2021 season. The Warriors acquired him in a deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Golden State gave up a conditional 2021 first round draft pick and a 2021 second round pick. This deal was shortly after the Phoenix Suns traded Oubre, Jalen Lecque, Ricky Rubio, Ty Jerome and a 2022 first-round draft pick to the Thunder for Chris Paul.

Oubre averaged 15.4 points during his time with the Warriors, as te then went on to sign with the Charlotte Hornets and two seasons later, he joined the 76ers.

Both the Warriors and the Sixers are having underwhelming seasons. The Sixers are the No. 11 seed in the Eastern Conference with a record of 15-26. Golden State is the No. 11 seed in the Western Conference with a record of 21-21.

Both teams could use some changes, and the Warriors have one of the most sought-after trade targets this season. Jonathan Kuminga is a young forward that is making $7.6 million. He will also be a restricted free agent in the offseason because he and the Warriors did not reach an agreement on an extension. With his youth, talent and contract, Kuminga has a number of suitors. One of the teams interested is likely Philadelphia.

Oubre is earning $7.9 million and has a player option for the following year. The Sixers could potentially use him in a deal for Kuminga. With Oubre, Kyle Lowry and possibly some draft picks, Philadelphia can get Kuminga and Lindy Waters III, who makes $2.1 million and is an expiring contract. Oubre brings energy, athleticism and while he is streaky, he can make shots. With how the Warriors season is going and the possibility of Kuminga being on the move, Oubre could be an option.
