It's starting to make sense how so many NFL Draft prospects received prank calls before they were picked.
Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio released new reporting on Thursday that shared just how many people received the phone number of Shedeur Sanders before the draft.
Florio wrote that an estimated 60 people per NFL team receive emails with the draft-night contact numbers of draft prospects.
When you take the 60 and multiply it by 32 teams, that's 1,920 people with the phone numbers of Sanders and others heading into the draft.
That explains how Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich's 21-year old son had a chance to spot Sanders' number on a screen at home and take it to use for a prank.

Florio reports that the email with phone numbers is sent to the same group that receives that daily transaction report. That includes even equipment managers.
It seems like that's a few too many people.
Even if Sanders hadn't slid to No. 144 overall, it would've been a shame that he and so many other top prospects received prank calls on the biggest weekend of their lives.
But once the slide happened, it just all added insult to injury.
Maybe the NFL should reconsider how it does this.
