Formula 1 heads to the lightning-quick Jeddah Corniche Circuit in the 2025 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix this weekend.

It marks Round 5 of an action-packed campaign that has seen McLaren lead the charge out of the blue, outperforming the likes of Red Bull, Mercedes, and Ferrari in both the Drivers' and Constructors' table.

Oscar Piastri comes in Saudi Arabia fresh off the back of a second victory of the season at the Bahrain Grand Prix, where he held off George Russell and teammate Lando Norris to stand atop the podium.

Meanwhile, reigning Japanese GP winner Max Verstappen could only muster a sixth-place finish, as Red Bull's early-season struggles continued to rear its ugly head.

It's a sharp contrast from a year ago, when Verstappen dominated in Jeddah with teammate Sergio Perez following him home for a Red Bull one-two. Fast forward to 2025, and the Dutchman finds himself in a much tougher spot, grappling with the limitations of the RB21.

Still, the four-time world champion has used all of his experience to keep himself firmly in the title picture, limiting the damage during Red Bull's turbulent spell.

Heading into the weekend, he sits just eight points adrift of Norris, the current leader in what is shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable championship battles in recent memory.

The 2025 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix race is finally here and for all your time, TV and streaming details, look no further than The Sporting News for a full guide.
