Shaquille O'Neal is getting involved in the college basketball world.

One of his first orders of business is getting one of the most famous high school basketball recruits ever to join him.

Shaq is the new general manager of the Sacramento State men's basketball team, which is newly coached by Mike Bibby and will feature Shaqir O'Neal, Shaq's son.

On Tuesday, Sacramento State picked up a high-profile transfer: Mikey Williams.

Williams was a high-flying darling of the social media highlight reel world when he was in high school.

His college career hasn't gone so well amid off-court controversy.

Williams averaged 5.1 points per game for UCF in 2024-25.

He had left Memphis for UCF following an April 2023 arrest.

Williams never played a game for Memphis.

He's a 6-foot-3 guard with 3.3 million Instagram followers.

LeBron James once praised Williams, but it's been a while.

Now, the former phenom is hoping Shaq and Bibby can help revive his basketball career at a stop far from the path Williams was once projected to travel.
